Our next PAC meeting is on May 11, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the school library. Free child-minding is provided. Please note the earlier start time of 6:00.
For this meeting we are having a guest speaker come in to speak about the importance of health eating and physical activity in our schools. P.J. Naylor is a Professor at UVic’s School of Exercise Science, Physical and Health Education.
The May meeting is also our Annual General Meeting, which we will hold after P.J.’s presentation. As part of the AGM we will be filling our Executive positions for the next school year, which are open to any Macaulay parent or guardian. Nominations are put forward at the AGM and if there is more than one person put forward for a position we will vote (by secret ballot).
The following positions are open:
– Co-chair (two positions)
– Secretary
– Treasurer
– Fundraising Coordinator
– VCPAC Representative
– Members at Large (four positions)

Contributing to the PAC is a great way to connect with other parents and school staff, and be a part of your child’s experience at Macaulay. We encourage everyone to attend our May meeting, regardless of whether you are interested in an Executive position.
